Mediation

Clients might also have mediation needs in their workplace. The underlying tenets of coaching lay out the tools to get to the source of thoughts, needs, and desires. These tenets are similar to the underlying theories of mediation—that there is a need to get beyond what one sees and down to the actual needs and source of the position of the parties which need to be mediated. Both coaching and mediation are based methods of questions to get to those ultimate needs and help each party understand their common ground in order to proceed in the most productive, efficient, and beneficial relationship possible.
You might be asking yourself, “How is mediation connected to leadership coaching?“
